One of the perks of this big “once a year” sale is that other retailers like Wayfair and Home Depot run sales to compete with Amazon. Retailers are looking to snag some of us that are ready for a great deal and in the buying mood! Take advantage of this by finding the best deals. This is the easy guide to preparing for Prime Day sales!

No need to wait for the big Holiday sales to roll around. Whether you’ve just moved into a new home and need some additional furniture, or you’re looking to upgrade your homes style quotient, this guide to preparing for the Prime Day sales is for you!

Prep now and when the big Prime Day sales start, you’ll be ready! As a Home Stager and Decorator I’m constantly upgrading my inventory and searching for great deals for my clients.
Here’s a quick guide to how you can prepare for Prime Day deals. We’ll go over what items to look for and a hack for how I track the deals. Plus, the retailers, sales and items that I’m keeping an eye on. There are great furniture and home décor deals during the Prime Day sales!
Inventory your home
First, make sure you have an idea of what furniture or décor items you’d like to snag for a great deal. These online sales can get overwhelming if you just go in browsing, not knowing what you’re looking for. With a list in hand, you can quickly navigate through their category pages and make it to what you’re looking for.
Start by taking an inventory of what you would like to update around your home. Maybe you want to adjust your color palette or modify your style a bit. An easy way to do that is to replace your Style Elements. Some examples of Style Elements are blankets, pillows, art work and rugs. Get notified of price drops
Have you heard of the app Honey? It's a great way to find hidden deals and coupon codes. They even have an amazing Chrome extension you can install on your desktop browser. When you find an item you like on Amazon, or any retailers page for that matter, you can click the Chrome extension and add it do your Honey Droplist. Honey will let you know if there's a current discount code available, or you can adjust your settings to alert you when your item hits a certain discount level!
Obviously you’ll get more alerts if you set it for 5% rather than 50%, but Honey lets you set it and forget it! Here’s my referral link to join Honey if you’d like to try it! I’ll be using it to get notified of price drops on a bunch of different sites during the Prime Day sales. I know that if I don’t get an alert, the item didn’t meet or go below the minimum discount I wanted. Now tracking deals has gotten a whole lot easier!

My Favorite Amazon Finds
There’s a whole page for you on my website where I save all of my Favorite Amazon Finds. A lot of these items I already love and use in my home staging business inventory. When I find a décor item I love using, I will often purchase multiples of them since I can have several houses staged at the same time. That’s why they’re still on my Prime Day watch list, that way I can pick up one or two more when the price drops!
